Pre-Kindergarten Program
Builds

Bright Future for Cicero's Children!
Funded by a grant from the Illinois State Board of Education since July, 2005, the Through A Child's Eyes Pre-Kindergarten Program provides services to 400 children who reside in Cicero; 200 in a two and one-half hour A.M. session and 200 in a two and one-half hour P.M. session.
Known for Quality Care, the Pre-K Program:
- Responds to
the needs of children who are at-risk of academic failure without
appropriate services
- Provides a
safe haven of instruction for children and a source of family education
for parents
- Follows the Creative
Curriculum provided by a highly trained bilingual staff
committed to addressing the needs of the whole family and helping them
achieve their highest potential
- Implements
multiple approaches that are developmentally, culturally, and
linguistically responsive to the needs of the children in Cicero
- Has a
teaching staff comprised of Illinois Certified Type 04 teachers
- Is licensed
by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services
- Received a Gold level
